Electrical load displacement can be defined
as the reduction of the maximum amount of the electrical peak load during the
day by rescheduling some of the loads that cause the peak load to times outside
peak hours during the day; thus, easing the right programming for the additions
and expansion of the electrical system components. Peak time is defined as the
time during which the electrical loads rise to their maximum level. To SEC,
peak time is the time from (12:00pm to 05:00pm) Saturday through Thursday.
